I think it was a PS1 game, it looked similar to Wipeout but the vehicles were sort of suspended above the track. Like hanging from a wire that ran above the track. I'm sure it existed.

I looked through that before making the topic. It was a game where the track was like a halfpipe, and there was a rail or something running above that the vehicle hung from.
