RPGs use numbers. Thats pretty much the easiest way to define one.
Any game that you can convert to an excel spreadsheet and word and get most of the the gameplay mechanics down is an RPG. You can get some RPGs which are more stat heavy then others but its one of the most defining characteristics, becuase the whole point is thats what they were.
Elder scrolls, has the numbers, the levelling up the immersive world, the folklore, the own universe with its own systems and rules, it has guilds it has NPCs you can interact with you can make your character play as anything you want.
I literally have no clue how you can say lego games are more RPG like then Elder Scrolls.

IRPG's are, RPG's, the genre title is Role-Play, not immersive world, experience points, guilds, etc... LEGO games do the thing RPGs a lot of RPGs through the ages do, give you a team of characters (even if you start with one, the team grows to be a team), each take turn to do something, do their role
FIFA is more of an RPG than Elder Scrolls
Straight from that wikipedia page:

The major similarities with pen-and-paper games involve developed story-telling and narrative elements, player character development, complexity, as well as replayability and immersion.
I dunno why you are just making up your own definition when there is one right there. Teams are nothing to do with an RPG. You've literally gone and played final fantasy and thought to yourself, lets just use that to define an RPG rather then realise how the game fits the definition.

Looks like a lot of fun. Haven't played any Lego games since Lego Batman 1 but the characters look a lot more unique than they usually do. Although with 100+ I'm sure most of them will end up feeling pretty similar. But I'm down for any game where you can play as Hulk.

Lego batman 2 is amazing and craps all over LB1, i've got LOTR as well though not played it but apparently that has RPG like elements (i assume super basic ones), either way this will be a must buy. I hope they finally put online coop on it though.
I think i might buy lego harry potter 5-7 on vita as its like 8 quid.

The demo was a lot of fun. The Hulk-out animation is great, and he has his Loki-slamming move from The Avengers. Spider-Man's voice bugged me because it was so familiar but I didn't know who it was. Turns out it's the same voice actor who does Ratchet. Iron Man was a bit dull, but it seems like the level wasn't really suited to him.

Are there any othher teleporting characters in it? Because if not then they probably just couldn't figure out how to do teleporting well.

A look at the New York sandbox and openworld gameplay. Looks amazing.
The #1, #2 and #7 OFFICIAL best X-Men aren't in this piece of shit. And who the fuck are Union Jack, Beetle and Wizard??? Boycot.
I'm not going to defend it, but I'd like to point out that those are also the three I would say have the most difficult abilities to code into a game. At least of the X-Men I know of.

It's not called Lego Xmen. They couldn't put everyone in it.

I'm pretty sure Rogue is a more popular X-Man than Havok and Polaris though.

I dislike the lack of Kitty or Nightcrawler But I like the game There are some glitches, sometimes are really annoying, almost stopping 100% completion Spider-Man's voice actor sounds better in Friend or Foe
