| I loved this movie when it came out. Back when I was a high school junior almost done with the year, this kicked ass. I'm an avid fan of giant monsters and thought that while the plot was okay and had a lot to be desired, it was a fun ride and a good time killer to sit down to on the weekends. All in all, loved it despite minor flaws, would see it again and looking forward to PR II. | |

Thing is that my semesters flew by fast and Godzilla 2014 was close to my Senior Year's end, mate. That was this year for me and PR was near the end of Junior Year for me. Still. Loved it from square one, said that. Point got across regardless. Excuse me for not clarifying earlier or not telling if you were joking.

| And thus the prophecy was fulfilled (we were on a roll in this topic): - Spoiler:

- Considering its awesome stats, though, does that mean the Aussie one will be the mech piloted by the obligatory douchebags who are total show offs and over glorified by everybody as the greatest pilots only to have their asses handed to them by the most fearsome monster so the main one can step in and save their ass?
Even this was debatedly accurate: - Skipio wrote:

Great film overally, but I was super annoyed by the attempts at character development fuck that get to the action quicker. The whole storyline of japanese girls life could've been summed up in a sentence, she saw a giant dinosaur. I mean I don't need 1 hour for this. I'd have rathered they show us the russians and chinese guys for a little bit instead. I think those parts would put me off watching this too many times, the fights alone were great. The time from the opening to the next fight is insanely long.
