| What the hell. My broforce just dropped by 10 points in about 5 seconds because you pointed that out. That was you wasn't it?
Anyway I can see what BD meant about getting bored. It's a fun game but it feels kind of pointless to try to learn it. The "combo" system is built around Critical Bursts now, which means you have to stagger the opponent with different attacks until they're staggered enough that you can hit them with your Critical Burst, which leaves them completely defenseless. The obvious problem being that there's no guaranteed way to do that since you can still counter while staggered, and every character only has one Critical Burst move, so once you learn them you could counter it every time.
So it becomes about quick pokes and extensive mixups, and not all the characters are good at that. No wonder Jann Lee and Eliot were quickly singled out as the best characters early on.

| It's an interesting system, I'll give it that. Like the water in certain stages. I guess the point is to be realistic, but you're more easily staggered in water. So now a fast low poke that wouldn't do much damage and would leave you able to block the rest of the string will open you up, just because you're standing in water. Which is fine I guess, situational awareness and all. Except of the 3 stages with this feature, one is 70% water and the other is 100% ice. So just for those two levels there's a whole range of pokes that suddenly become potential combo starters. | |

Are you absolutely sure that's not an official costume?

| I'm fairly certain. Although having the characters nude with black boxes would be amusing. | |

| Unlocked Alpha. She's alright. No wake up attacks though and she floats around after a lot of her moves. You can Hold to ground yourself faster but she seems pretty vulnerable. Lots of ridiculously long strings though. | |

| http://www.4gamer.net/games/140/G014061/20121016074/Apparently they are going to be in 3 seperate packs, it sounds like it will be overpriced, i might get the cat one. Although i'd just like any decent outfit for mila and hitomi. The packs are grouped in the fours in the above links. 400 MSP or 4 pounds for each pack. 10 pounds for all 3 packs bundled. | |

| Apparently the PS3 isn't getting the bundle until next week. Not that it matters, no way I'm paying that much. | |

| Yeah its pretty stupid I want brad costumes. I'm super glad i got the CE, seems like we dodged a bullet as otherwise i'd have probably bought one of these.
I don't like any of the individual characters enough to warrant a purchase like that. Plus i just realised 3 out of the 4 girls they are giving cat outfits in this one already have in game rare swimsuits so it seems pretty dumb to be giving those ones DLC. Seeing as ppl get more without having to even pay.

| i've completed 249 challenges. I still don't understand the critical burst system, which would help me get a bunch of titles. | |
