Most anticipated games for end of 2011?

Thank you. I decided to revote for U3 anyway though. And don't worry, I still am a god among mere mortals when it comes to gaming. I do need to get back into it though. I haven't been on my PS3 in like 3 weeks.

Hmm... Not that I care about Dead Island much, but I doubt DBUT will outsell that. Dead Island's a hyped up zombie game while DB is just...another DB game that hardly anybody cares about. Not to mention it's already received some backlash by fans long before its release. Also, don't forget Dragon Ball games were already selling terribly recently as well, imagine how this one will do when even the small amount of people who actually still care are dwindling.

Maybe eventually they'll realise they've milked the DBZ games for all they're worth and make a badass Dragon Ball game or a One Piece fighting game for PS3. Or something.

Namco Bandai seems to like milking rushed products from the same ol' cheap developers for both OP and DB. Seriously, it's STILL Ganbarion doing OP games these days(this time, whoring them all to Nintendo). Let them go and get better developers already, guys.

Edit: Speak of the devil, there's a rumor going around that OP's heading for the ps3.

360 peasantry has no place in the most anticipated list.

360 ruins every most anticipated list.

The reason being there's only ever two games coming out on it. So you get every 360 user wants gers of war 3. Every PS3 user is split between 3/4 exclusives.

Suddenly as gears of war 3 has more votes obviously as it has the highest percentage of its actual market, it becomes the most anticipated game ever. I'm not denying its popular, but if it was on PS3 it would be nowhere near as popular as there's actually competition.

The same applies to wii, Skyward sword will be game of the year as its the only wii game worth talking about...

What are you babbling about? Did you even read my post correctly? The only companies I was dissing were Spike and Ganbarion. My edit adding the link to the rumored OP ps3 game was good news.

Made you sound like you were calling Koei a cheap developer. The edited link made it look even more like you were doing that with the speak of the devil comment.

Because we were talking about how Namco Bandai constantly never bothers to get any other development to produce a One Piece game for the ps3, Buu. Then suddenly shortly after said conversation, this news pops up about them possibly doing it, hence "speak of the devil". I would never diss Koei(and I did rent one of their older DW games years ago and enjoyed that).

Oh well i'll just change what i said. I pologise as i have a pretty short fuse to Koei bashing as its almost always people who never played there games, or haven't played a game of there years in X years. Even when its been stated everywhere that ken's rage was probably one of the best anime games ever made, in terms of living up to the source material.

Well you needn't worry. Considering the possibility that they're delivering a game we've all been waiting for after all this time, I'm pretty freaking ecstatic.

If this rumor proves true, I assume this is one of the greatest gaming announcements ever for you since you're both a fan of their work and of OP?

This actually is especially with there delivery of Ken's Rage, which is probably my favourite Koei game.

I really just hope they put a decent team on this. I'm guessing it should be the Gundam 3/Ken's Rage team, seeing as they currently aren't doing anything to my knowledge. That also makes the possiblity of online multiplayer a recent addition to gundam 3 and has now become a staple of DW7.

I hope they just stick to the less characters with bigger variety then a large roster. Player wise as long as we got the straw hats in, I'm pretty much content. DLC is looking like a bigger part of Koei development these days, which is both a blessing and curse at the same time. Either way if this becomes reality we'll all end up preordering and getting the bonus characters.
