Street Fighter X Tekken

It's really stupid how he's making a big deal out of noteworthy Street Fighter characters being in a fucking Street Fighter game. It also goes to show how bitter he still about MvC3 not being Marvel vs Street Fighter 3 when he said "All the good Capcom characters" like any Capcom game outside of Street Fighter has any fucking influence on this game. About the only unexpected characters so far have been Rolento, Hugo and Poison and that's because Hugo isn't very popular, Rolento is a favorite of Ono's but hasn't been brought up outside of Ono's musings nor have we seen Poison as a playable character in the past, about no one else besides those three have been unexpected. Like seriously, comment on how ridiculous gems make the gameplay look or how dumb the story seems to be with a magical space box, not that you are liking that noteworthy Street Fighter characters are in a fucking Street Fighter game, that's just stupid on a level Savage doesn't stoop to.

Anyways, this game has come to look really fucking stupid over the past months. Like, back when Cross Assault was the big reveal for this game I was loving the shit out of it and could not wait for it, but then they revealed Pandora Mode and while scramble looks awesome, Pandora was unnecessary and then gems showed up and I was really fucking annoyed with those too and even more annoyed when I learned they couldn't be turned off. I'm still going to get this game and enjoy it to some extent but I am not really going to put forth any effort into learning it, the most I'm going to do is some arcade stuff, maybe screw around on online a bit and play it here and there. I'm not going to devote actual time to practicing like I do with SSFIV AE or UMVC3.

I completely forgot about the gems and the other crap they added. That's a huge downside for me. I'll probably get it far into price drop or just rent it if I ever decide to get into the whole Gamefly thing.

Presumably. Namco's version won'tbe out for ages though. Tag 2 is first and after that it'll probably be a year or two at least.

The combo system looks pretty cool and that special move dash cancel thing is really cool too. Most of the animation on the new characters is really good, much better than SF4. And the new mechanics of the game (Gems, Pandora and Cross Assault) are harmless enough to be unnoteworthy. My only problem with the game is it seems slower than SF4, but everything else about it looks better so I'll definitely be picking this up.

Looks like Capcom managed to fix most of the problems I had before release, thankfully.

Aris apparently caused outrage at the Cross Assault by being a jerk to his only female teammate. Which is hardly surprising considering he's a jerk to pretty much everyone.
