voltron was before my time as well but dad had alot of the tapes when i was younger so i saw them that way

The fact it looks like MMPR makes it a must buy.

I remember it because I had badass toys of it as a kid.

This show is the reason I'm so violent now. I lived off of Power Rangers and TMNT as a child.

The original MMPR was so badass, does anyone else remember how the first few seasons were linked despite having different teams of rangers and, for the final episode of the final season, they had a badass crossover? That shit was like porn for kids.

And the movie was the most baddass thing ever. I still play my power ranger and TMNT fighting games on the genesis. Yes I'm that awesome. I got my genesis hooked up and it shall never be dissconnected.

God this is making me way too nostolgic. Remember when Ichigo took over for the black dude that was the black ranger (obviously). That's about when I stopped watching, I had the biggest crush on the pink ranger.

I still want to buy a MMPR Megazord and the Dragonzord then combine them and sit there and think shit why do i love this so much.

You guys are awesome, I only know one other person who admits they still like power rangers.

Even though I used to watch the show a hella lot as a child before I went to live in NZ for a few years, I have more fond memories of the movie. The suits in that were badass, Ivan Ooze was awesome, and the musical score was pretty great(surprisingly, it was an orchestral score done by a hollywood composer instead of Shuki Levy, the composer of the show who did all that cheesy, yet awesome, rock music).

Still, anything '90s PR is pretty much glorious cheese. You'd be surprised how the franchise has a strong fanbase. There's also a hardcore weeaboo fanbase who goes nuts over the original Sentai crap(which is even more hilariously cheesy than PR) and spits on our '90s nostalgia.
