RPG Mini/Card-Games Discussion

Personally, I really liked Pazaak in "Knights of the Old Republic". First off, it was simply a fun diversion; I don't remember any quests directly related to Pazaak except that one in "KOTOR 2" that involved the Twilek slave on Telos. Secondly, you didn't neccessarily need to play the gambling aspect; in both games, one of your allies is willing to play casual matches with you, so you are free to enjoy the game without flustering over your wins and losses. Third and most important, it actually feels like a real card game; if Pazaak existed in real life, I would definately play it.

I loved Sphere Break in FF X-2.

Oh, and FF X's Blitzball.

I thought it was funny how that woman would try to swindle some credits out of you after seeing you beat Niklos in a hand of Pazaak.

My absolute favorite card game within a video game is Triple Triad. Xenosaga's card game wasn't bad, either.

Mini-games? I'm not sure.

But Blitzball in FFX had pretty bad controls. I could hardly move any of the characters around to make a decent score.

Triple Triad. I could play this for hours in FF8. Screw the story, it's all about cards.

tetra master from FF9 was pretty cool, and its available to play while connecting in FF11

i completed it with ease
