| Not necessarily in eliminator. You just have to blow the shit out of eachother rather than actually race. | |

| I got this game as part of the Welcome Back package and... to be honest, I don't enjoy it that much. I mean, yes, I like the look of the game, but the gameplay just isn't enjoyable for me. I'm seriously thinking of deleting it from my PS3; it was a free download I could recover again if I REALLY wanted to, but... eh. It's just not very fun.
At the very least, nowhere near as fun as my other free download, Infamous, and the other game I got off PSN (by purchase), Red Faction Guerrilla.

| The problem with wipeout is it gets better the more time you put in but you really need to be highly skilled at the game and get to phantom or at least class 3 (i forget its name) to really appreciate it. As the first two classes are just pathetically slow. I do however think you should check out zone mode. Its pretty much the best the game has to offer, otherwise low level races are pretty lacklustre. | |

| Yeah, I always choose Rapier class (3rd speed class). Below that is a bit boring but above that you need to pretty much commit the tracks to muscle memory to get around them without crashing at every turn. | |

Oh phantom class is a bitch. If i manage to master it though I will definitely purchase wipeout 2048 which is the first premium wipeout title in like 10 years.

IIRC Wipeout fusion came out at 20 pounds around 2002 and was a game that had tracks from all three PS1 games, the 2009 release of wipeout Pulse was a PSP port. Wipeout 2048 from what i hear is being release on PS Vita and PS3 although this maybe a cross platform thing or you know remote play, which might mean this is another PS3 budget title.

| Yeah, I decided to delete it from my system. I just don't have the patience to invest in such a game, especially if the early stages are so dull. | |

| I never found them dull when I started. Only once I got used to the higher speed classes. | |

| The HD/Fury expansion for 2048 is both great and terrible. Great because it's literally the entire HD/Fury campaign with every track, ship, and event perfectly replicated. Terrible because it's only the campaign with absolutely zero options for free events, and the menu system is awful. Once you complete an event, the even logo is replaced with a medal, so you can't even see what it is until you select it.
2048 doesn't have any free events either, apart from speed laps, but at least you can see what the events are.

| It is, but the lack of free events is annoying. It's also a lot harder then Wipeout HD. The other racers are much more aggressive and the tracks aren't as clean. I found it hard to see corners coming sometimes. | |
