SCEE released the patch one day earlier. Holy shit, it feels like it takes forever to block after a backdash. I suppose this is good news for anyone playing a close-range/rushdown/mix-up character. Personally I don't think I like this change.

Well, DL'ed patch. Can't notice a thing off other than a damage that I can just notice. Then again, I'm a bit of a scrub with the others. So Maxi is like, The only character I'm good with.
So, How long until that Cereus Shop or whatever opens?

Didn't the backdash nerf help Maxi? I know it improved Patro (the white one) who was also weak to backdash. His stab attack (66B) can now catch opponents backdashing on frame disadvantage.

I actually do like how ZWEI's 2p gloves look good on their own. The rest of the outfit is nice as well, But the gloves themselves are boss. Also, Justice Boots suit me better than the cowboy boots did. And now my self-insert is damn smexy.

I was going to buy the pack with Elysium's outfit, but then I remembered I don't play any female characters. It sucks that the modern clothes aren't available yet.

There is actually an easy way: pick Voldo and find either Hilde or Tira in quick battle, then instead of fighting, keep holding back. However, even with this method, it still takes several hours for the trophy and it's extremely boring. It's easier with a turbo controller.

Huh, I just got that trophy (and the platinum). According fo my stats I've played over two thousand matches. This is truly an extremely stupid trophy.

2000 matches already? I think it took me about a year to get that many matches in Tekken 6.

2000 matches online AND offline. I think rounds also end faster in this because of the weaker spacing, the guard break system, ring-outs, brave edges, critical edges, etc., but I haven't played Tekken for a year or so and I can't be sure.

It's a shame that Viola and ZWEI are underused; they've two of the most interesting move sets I've ever seen in a 3d fighting game. This is how often I encounter each character online:
Ryu & Ken of SCV: Nightmare, Mitsurugi Once in a while: Siegfried, Pyrrha, Natsu, Xiba, Leixia Once in a blue moon: Raphael, Patroklos, Ezio, Voldo, Astaroth, Ivy, Algol Completely forgotten: Everyone else
