| First time for me to watch it actually, just because of Baal's thread on fighting games and anime Just watched the first episode, unfortunately in English dubbing, not a problem, but Japanese voice acting sounds much better on anime, loved what I saw. Kind of reminds me of Dragon Ball and Bleach | |

You're going to find that to be very untrue when you watch through this specific series. The English dub is the only reason to actually bother with Yu Yu Hakusho, otherwise you're just watching a pretty mediocre show. It's one of those few types of anime where you don't actually mind if the dub isn't as accurate or even a butchering of the show because the great, hilarious acting and liberties taken with the dialogue makes the experience more fun for an otherwise lousy series. Other examples of this situation are Medabots, originally a boring series about kids having robots battle each other(its dub turned it into a tolerable comedy) and Duel Masters, originally a Yu-Gi-Oh! rip off(its dub turned into into a satire of the toy/craze/fad genre). | |

| The only bad voice in the YYH dub is Kuwabara.
And Kayko of course. | |

| The English dub is good. Justin Cook's Yusuke is spot on. Also, Chuck Huber does an amazing Hiei (Japanese voice is great too) and John Burgmeir does a great Kurama. I don't know what Sabat was thinking when he did Kuwabara lol. | |
