I think the only game we played like that was Payday, which Moose and Baal weren't even enthusiatic about.

This is what happens when you don't join recruitments and call to arms. We start picking up new language and you're left standing in the rain, kinda like Sora. Get a multiplayer game I'm actually interested in and I'll gladly join. Why not just do Uncharted 3 for now?

Even when i'm playing Deus Ex. Plus i'm not playing anything online at the moment, that might change shortly though depending on what i decide to get first out of the winter rush. - SOK wrote:

All of us will be on that eventually, but considering about 6 major games are out its gonna take time. Also even when we did play uncharted and two of the people were in your time zone (that said i think me and moose seem to miss each other online alot) you hardly ever played, i think twice IIRC. I'm pretty sure you played WFC with Baal way more. Also you should make suggestions for MP games. I did a few times and thats what we've been playing. So people are open to suggestion

| Yeah, but I was busy with other games at the time. Now, there isn't much holding me back for U3's MP. I finished Bats AC ages ago and I'm saving the other games I'm interested in for Christmas and such. | |

We really need BD or Raz to be online too, the game gets exponentially better (also more manageable) the more people that are playing. Also I noticed you forgot to include Magicka in that statement, you should fix that.

Also I noticed you forgot to include Magicka in that statement, you should fix that. Magicka hurt my feelings, after it did that whole fucking up on me thing. That was seriously jarring. I really should play it though, especially as its just bad form to buy a game and never play it. Did you finish the postal 2 DLC BTW some of it was great. Moose obviously hindered me the whole way through, pretty much like how raz slows us down in everything.

| Yeah Raz and I played it a while ago, I really liked it mostly because it, for the most part, just jumped right into it rather than teaching you all the mechanics again.
As for Magicka you should get it patched up and/or try running it on that other computer you said you had, I have no idea whether the new bugfixes would help but it's always worth a try.

I'm gonna play through this soon, what patch were you on and did you have any trophy glitches? I'll probably try and playthrough the game in a week.

| I don't remember doing many updates, just the patch put up shortly after release. And no, I never had any trophy glitches. | |

| This is a fun game i just hope it doesn't get boring and repetitive.
This actually looks beautiful though and i hope rockstar realise they should actually make the games they develop look like this. Comparatively red dead and GTA are so fucking ugly it makes me never wanna touch those games again.

| I wasn't a fan of the lack of interogation in the last couple of cases.
Generally speaking though an excellent game and definitely worth playing just don't expect free roam awesomeness. As there is literally jack to do in free roam except find film canisters that would literally be impossible to find without a guide.
Street crimes were a great idea though.

| The game was great. If they're gonna make another one though, there are a lot of things needing change. -Driving awareness and controls. Driving was fun, but the turning was abysmal on high speed chases and when moving fast in general. The handbrake was too much and the normal break was too little. Also, AI cars had terrible awareness of your driving. Also, when you're supposed to tail someone in a car, it's idiotic for the light to always turn red immediately as they cross the intersection. -Evidence and clues were only half relevant or not relevant at all. This is something that Ace Attorney games really excelled at that L.A. Noire couldn't get down pat. Most of the cases ended short without making sense of most of the clues given. Most of the interrogation questions required doubt or truth and not presenting evidence. I realize that is mostly the D.A's job, but it still leaves more to be desired with each case. - Spoiler:
-Stop killing off your main characters so abruptly at the end of the games, Rockstar. I had Rockstar's number halfway through the game that Cole was gonna be offed somehow. You don't even end the game playing as him. Not only did they just randomly kill him off, but it was so fast you couldn't even fully take in what the hell was happening. That has to be the most unenthusiastic death of a protagonist I have ever seen.
With all that said, I loved the game and was hooked all the way through.

| Honestly i thought the driving was fine the only chase i failed was one called camera obscura, but i think i was playing this after having played GTA4 recently and that game has the shittest handling ever. The tailing thing was dumb it wasn't relly a problem as the game was fairly lenient, but it just broke gameflow as i don't think me cutting across the pavement for chases and tails was something phelps would do. Did you 5 star all the cases? Because doubt in itself uses evidence, but just usually stuff he'd seen, just not worth presenting as it only suggested rather then proved. Apparently if you miss clues those questions won't even come up. My biggest gripe with the evidence was there was fuck all to do in the last 2/3 cases in terms of interogation and it went to gunplay, which sure it felt like it fit with a film but was considerably less enjoyable then the actual cases. - Spoiler:
I completely agree with the death of phelps it seemed stupid and i was really irritated about that, as well as the fact roy didn't get his comeuppence, i mean i guess the higher ups were untouchable but seriously roy was a shit. I mean you knew phelps was gonna die, but he died in a really shitty way. Even in that last scene, i couldn't imagine kelso leaving him behind, considering that was like his main character trait. I also weren't a fan of the affair it seemed forced.
Overall though i did think it was a mustplay, honestly when i said it reminded me of phoenix wright i should of said that miles edgeworth game cause its actually got more in common with that. Wait till you get the film reels because you'll be annoyed there's that much detail in the environment you don't visit and they didn't use it for anything.

Wait till you get the film reels because you'll be annoyed there's that much detail in the environment you don't visit and they didn't use it for anything. I must have been doing something wrong with the turning then. Did you use the handbrake more on the fast paced driving? Because when I used the handbrake, often times I spun out. I didn't 5 star every case...probably because some of the interrogation things were too ambiguous. Sometimes it could have gone either way IMO. - Spoiler:
Oh yeah, Roy was a bastard. I liked how Phelps figured out it was him that sold him out in the newspaper video though. When he told Roy to shut the fuck up or he'd put a bullet in his head. I think with John Marshton it was done a little better. At least Jack got revenge and stuff. But shit man, Phelps got completely trolled with a shit death. The affair was also stupid, definitely. They built up Phelps to be this major hero guy much like a more clean and heroic version of Marshton. And then literally out of nowhere he goes and cheats on his wife. Phelps was more of an analytical person, not an impulsive one. It was definitely forced, because they realized that Phelps needed to do at least one bad thing in the game otherwise people would bitch that he was a perfect idealistic hero which he still seemed like anyway.
Definitely agree with a must play. No game is without flaw IMO. And the pros far outweigh the cons and it's a very addictive game. I'm gonna go complete all the street crimes soon.

| Those eat up quite a lot of time, by the way when you look for them in free roam a bunch will be on the map i think the ones in red are the ones you haven't done. The radio will literally pick cases at random.
If a case doesn't come up it might be a night one in that case exit and renter andi think that usually changes the time if it doesn't get you partner to drive you to the opposite side of the map as that worked for me.
