It was a great film and i'm not denying that. I shouldn't really complain but i will:

Bane was a decent villain and a lot of the big scenes were entertaining enough, but I dunno something just wasn't there. To put it one way, that opening scene was a lot less impressive then it should've been. The bank job from 2 was an amazing opening. Talia was so obvious earlier it was grating, I was just waiting for bane to basically admit he was a lacky, and after he did he got shot. Batman was really not very batman like in this film, the only scene he felt like it was the lead up to the films mid-break... yeah i did that. Also lack of batman on screen for large portions of the film and basically acting like batman would have to retire, what the hell were they thinking. Also i thought the whole point of the robotic leg was going to have some crucial point in the bane fight, but no they didn't even go with that. The ending was executed atrociously, and really needed some subtlety.
After the bat was broken that whole anarchy part was way too fucking long. I found the film kinda depressing, as really what did batman fix, Gotham seemed like a right shithole and nothing really seemed in place to change that all the work in 2 had been undone. Gordon being made out to be a complete dick didn't sit well with me either. Blake's character taking up the mantle was disappointing. I'd have rathered an introduction of Dick Grayson and an allusion to Nightwing. Oh and making this film a 12A so they could use cutaways almost destroying all impact in any violent scene was complete and utter bullshit. I'll wait till this is on blu-ray before i give my full comments on the action.

I watched this like a week ago. I liked it. I liked Bane. It didn't feel like a Batman film, so I agree with whoever said that, but regardless of that it was still a good third act in the trilogy. It did a good job of ending it.
