| Seriously. He gets a fuckton of praise for some of his roles, but I can't recall any of his movies being good. | |

I thought you were talking about his role, admittedly i've not seen that film in over 10 years but i'm pretty sure he played his part well, and either way the first half of it is great, the adult bit is boring.

| No, his roles are good (some of them at least), but the movies he's in are terrible. | |

| Tim Curry gets praise because he's always enjoyable to watch, even though he can't really act. | |

Pretty much this. I haven't seen a single movie he's in that's been typically 'good' but they're always fun to watch. He's actually a decent voice-actor but I can't think of anything he's been in off the top of my head.

| He was Long John Silver in "Muppet Treasure Island". That wasn't too bad. | |

RHPS is shit. It's also awesome and I love it but if you judge it like you would a 'normal' movie it's shit.

| He was a VA for a villian in one of my daughters Barbie DVD's.
Recognised the voice right away.

| Apparantly, what makes RHPS as popular and classic is the fact that you can watch it time and time again with your friends and continue to find new ways to prove how shit the film is. All in a theater.
Honestly, I had no idea that was what made it so recognised.
It's MST3K before there was MST3K
