Yeah, Not even in the PSP port. oh well, Atleast the Dark Knight class is available in the PSP port. And Balthier. That makes how many Square fangirl services done in this game? Cloud Balthier (Insert something else I forget here.)

| Well, Cloud is horrible in FFT. His wait time is too long to bother.
Balthier, however, is horribly broken.

Balthier, however, is horribly broken. And totally hawt. I used Cloud anyway though. Some of his limit breaks were pretty handy. Finishing Touch, anybody?

| If and when Finishing Touch actually finished chanting, it was good. It's just the amount of time spent actually using the skill.
Cloud is actually able to have three turns pass before Finishing Touch is finished casting.

Cloud is actually able to have three turns pass before Finishing Touch is finished casting. Um... Wow. I never had any problems with it. Maybe I just had better equipment or something? Auto-haste FTW.

| Well, his availability, starting level, requirement to use his SOLDIER skills and such is too tedious. In the grand scheme of things, Cloud is worse than a generic unit. | |

Most of that stuff makes sense. Thing is, it's EASY to train in that game (just smack your own characters XD), and once he's trained up, he's essentially a generic character that looks like Cloud. I'll take him.

| His stat growths are still worse than a generic unit. | |

Stat growth, iirc, is based on current job. So his SOLDIER job may have crappy stat growth, but just change him to a knight or something while you're training him.

| Which defeats the purpose of his SOLDIER skills as he cannot gain JP for his starter class to access those "cool moves". | |

Solution: GRIND MOAR I liked Cloud. I trained him to 99 in a useful job, then got him JP for SOLDIER, at the same time that I got Ramza JP for Dark Knight, and Balthier JP for Sky Pirate, and so on and so on. Plus, I spent a LONG time in that last dungeon, whatever it's called. I found EVERY hidden item with the move/find skill. That gave me more than enough time to grind all I needed.

| I don't like to grind uncontrollably in my SRPGs, so this is where we part ways. | |
