| GTA4 ans San Andreas.
Even though I don't own 4, I'm able to play it at a friends house, and really enjoy's it.
SA I own and is my favorite of the 3 GTA games I has. It was also the only one I kept playing long enough to completely pass. | |

| I've not really spent enough time with IV to make a definite call on this, but I have a feeling SA would still be my choice.
That's partly why I enjoy Saints Row 2 so much, it's a game basically created around the mucking about you can do away from the beaten path, which is an avenue GTAIV seems to have restricted somewhat.
GTAIII was great at the time, but both VC and SA comfortably surpass it. | |
