| Guys, I think it's better to lock this topic before people start hurting each other's feelings! | |

| HAH! It worked! I convinced them to get me Red Dead Redemption early! I'm going to start it a little later, though; I want to activate the preorder bonus before I start, but Mom needs to send me the information first. I'll want to try online with some of you guys, but I think I'll want to make some progress in-game before doing so to get the hang of things. At the very least, I want to get Dead Eye level 3... so, basically, early Mexico. | |

| That's odd... for some reason, my mom received an e-mail for the preorder bonus, but the inside of the case had a preorder code slip as well. Furthermore, each code was different. I used the one from mom's e-mail and I got it just fine. So if anybody is interested in claiming that other code, let me know. First come first serve, though.
It's for the Golden Guns, by the way, turning the Cattleman set (the starting pistol and rifle) into gold variations that apparently increase the rate you gain fame.

| Is the code region locked? If it's not I'll oblige... Just so you know you only get level 2 Dead Eye in multiplayer so playing that far into the story before you try it out probably isn't necessary. | |

| I have absolutely no clue as to the whole region-locking thing. How to I know for sure?
EDIT: Whatever. I'll send it to you anyway. Let me know the result.

| My old GoW Trilogy code says in the terms and conditions that it only works for copies of the game with 'BCES00510' as the id. It's on the spine of the case underneath the rating symbol. My AU copy of RDR has 'BLES00680' as its id.Thanks EDIT: Worked perfectly. On a side note, I've never understood why some codes have to be entered in-game and some through the xmb. | |

| The xmb?
Also, for anyone who doesn't have it already, my PSN is "Kimarous", just like everywhere else (except the few with a lower case 'k').

| Cross-menu-bar iirc, it's the PS3 main menu. | |
