Ignore the cringe-worthy dialogue at the start, this game looks pretty awesome.
Possibly similar to Lost Planet but seeing as LP2 was pretty much a failure I'll be keeping an eye on this.

Finally a new trailer. Was getting tired of constantly seeing nothing but that old teaser.

Oh and PG better not fuck us Ps3 players over again like with what happened to Bayonetta and that whole port situation.

It can only be awesome.

Shit, I agree. The were good and fun for a while but they don't give you much incentive to use the dash or shit. I only remember one instance where I verbally went "FUCK YEAH!" and this was after I had taken down every creature and then dashed up to one and clocked it in the face, killing it. I also hate how quickly I die, I expected this to be crazy fun like Bayonetta and Madworld where they would give you some freedom to get hit but shit I got by two of the creatures and died. How in the hell am I supposed to tell how much health I have, too? Jesus, the only thing that felt like it had any power to it was the CQC and it's ridiculous how using that immediately makes me overheat.

That's also another problem I fucking have, what is with this overheat thing? Does it necessarily need to be used for everything? Dashing? Fine. Slow-Motion? You could've made a separate bad for that but okay. Punching? You can not be fucking serious.

I might still get this game but it's nowhere near as crazy as i thought it was gonna be.

Yeah, I expecting a sort of hack'n'slash version of a shooter, but it was basically a normal cover based shooter.

Gonna try out the demo for myself as soon as it downloads.

I kinda agree, the tutorial got me all excited but i didn't feel i could really let loose in the actual level.

Which means they're probably keeping a bunch of good stuff back for the full game.

Didn't like the design much either. Everything was all robotic and shiny, so it all looked the same when I started running around. Couldn't really get a sense of where I was going or what I was supposed to be doing.

I didn't have a problem with that, I just fucking hated how bad the boss fight was. It basically just consisted at firing at the joints and spamming the dodge button.

I'll have to wait for a serious price drop or gameplay on release before I consider buying this.

there has to be some solo missions and stuff with wide open spaces, i can't imagine it all being how this part of the game was.

Well that's disappointing, I had high hopes for this game. Gonna try out the demo later.

Curse my download speed on PS3. It took forever to download and it's on it's last MB to dl so I'm about to try it out.

Alright, so the controls are a little loose. I got used to it pretty quick. The boost is sick except yeah, there wasn't too much use for it in the demo level. I used it a fair amount during the boss though and when I hopped from cover to cover. The punching wasting overheat meter was ridiculous though.

I'll probably buy this game, though. I think there will be much better stuff on the full game.

You can't really say that, I played the demo again with the intention of not using cover at all and I didn't die once. You can't do that in a 'normal cover based shooter' like GoW or Uncharted.

Well I finished it, and I liked it. It wasn't amazing, but I'm still getting it on the first day.

I think Neo is the only person in this thread with my pro gamer skills.

Getting through without dying while staying out of cover is entirely possible. I'm flying through the game it does feel like it will be short. The only thing i'm disappointed in is this looks nowhere near as awesome or fast as i remember. Graphics must have really come forward over the last year.

I completely forgot about this game. I still want to get it sometime in the future.

This is a terrible game to stop halfway through. I just got to this bit where buildings are falling on me but as i was unfamiliar with the controls i struggled to navigate just gonna finish ME2 then come back to this.

This is a good game.
