Iron Man 2

Just got back from watching it.

My opinion?

War Machine? Awesome.
Soundtrack done by AC/DC? Awesome.
SAMUEL L. JACKSON AS NICK FURY? Awesome.
The Climax? ...Yeah, it's as anti-climactic as the last one was but at least like the last one it had something awesome as hell preceding it.

iron man > iron man 2

i saw this a few days ago
war machine is awesome

don cheadle didn't really come into his own till near the end of the film

I still don't know which I liked more. I really liked the fight between Tony and Rhody.

Have yet to watch 2 but it made 5th for best opening weekend ever.

pretty much that alone made the original better for me

i also wasn't a fan of whiplash, i know its a comic book film
but even then i still find ppl surviving certain things unreasonable

Fuck, I loved the amount of screen time the other characters got, although, I'm a War Machine fanboy so I guess I'm a bit biased here even though I love Robert Downey Jr.

they're both great films

the war machine suit is awesome
and hammer was hilarious

Iron Man 2 is even better than SM2.

As expected, War Machine kicked ass and took names.

I saw it in release day, I was disappointed. I'm not sure why entirely either, maybe it was because it felt like there was too much going on, too many storylines fighting for screentime, maybe because Whiplash was a pretty lame villain. Two things I did like; War Machine, and Black Widow. Hell, I don't even like Scarlett Johansson but... that leather. Yep.

I'll see it tomorrow if my paycheck holds up.

I'll be seeing it at some point.

yeah that car bit bugged the hell out of me
aside from that he was alright
but his super healing factor for that one scene was stupid and he shouldn't have been able to stand when the car moved away

Dude, he's using the same technology Tony was using and he was able to take a lot of abuse without the suit on. It's safe to say that Whiplash can take a few smashes from a car before getting back up.

i just found it hard to believe seeing as he had nothing on his legs armour wise at all
and he actuallly goes toe to toe with iron man after his legs should have been left a bloody pulp
even if they just put a couple of metal things on his legs that didn't really do anything it would of sold it to me more

i mean they rammed the car into him at least 3 times but i think even more then that

Just watched this. The thing where two characters talk over each other got annoying really fast. Also, Iron Man needs a villain that isn't a guy in a knock-off Iron Man suit. And whole national conflict of Tony witholding the technology and other people trying to copy it was just sort of dropped by the end of the film.

I mean, the whole first movie was about Tony reclaiming/destroying his stolen/misused technology. He made a big deal about not selling the suit. That continues in this movie. He had a fight with his best friend over it, and his friend took the suit to the military. I gather this was supposed to be a bad thing. But at the end, Rhodes just takes off in the suit again, but now it's okay for some reason.

I was totally confused by that whole issue.

Also, why was Pepper telling the police what to do near the end? That bugged the crap out of me.

I hate Pepper in that movie

I liked the banter more than the Iron Man stuff, but that was OK as well. I wanted to rip the glasses guy's face off and shove it up his arse, but Mickey Rourke was hilarious. The movie's only as fun as you make it, anyway.
