I think they should make a db CGI movie

even if it was just cell shaded it would be cool

I just stumbled into that video while trying to look for Ep. 42 of Alternate Reality Dragonball Z. Even that's not available yet, but I found this instead.

I hope the DBZ movie is like this with better effects.

If they are going to go live action, I hope so as well. But until then, I'll stick with the Dragonball Abridged series by Team Four Star and play Budokai Tenkaichi 3.

I wouldn't mind if it was 2D either, but it'd be a near impossiblity to convince Toriyama-san to do a movie about a series he no longer makes new stories for.

He wouldn't have to do anything really.

Last thing that I heard he did for the series was design the supposed SS5 Goku, which started the whole Dragonball AF craze. Not that it was a bad design, of course.

I doubt he designed any such thing. He didn't desing SSJ4, why would he do SSJ5?

That's right, I heard he didn't do the SS4 design. Not even Dragonball GT itself was his own creation as it was just a gimmick on the part of Toei Animation.

But that's what I'd want to see. More so that a CGI film. If someone's gonna spend the money of doing great 3D animation, they can spend it on great 2D animation.
