And as you can see if you follow this link, they more or less have the whole series except for Volumes 6 and 7! I want to continue, but I have no idea what I'll miss!
Anyone have any alternative sources and/or want to fill me in? Or should I just hold off until someone hopefully fills the gap on said site?

Oh yeah, this is where I stopped too.
I got really interested after Jagi was laid out only to learn that Volumes 6 and 7 are missing.
From existence apparently because I can't find them anywhere.

i'm more then willing to summarise the plot if you can tell me the events in volume 5 and 8 so i know where about this is i know the anime story fully so i should be able to help out

hmmm this seems to be the end of part 1
part 2 is pretty much the rest of the whole manga of hokuto no ken 1
i don't think we actually see raoh till a lot later, though its mentioned that he's around

Basically it starts off with a woman dressed in a brown hooded cloak type thing, in the desert she's wandering round, bunch of bandits want to rape her we see a glimpse of her eye. They attack her the cloak is removed and a guy emerges who slices them to shreds this guy is using a technique known as nanto suichoken (if memory serves). One of the guys recognises his technique and tells him that his nunchaka skills far surpass the average fighter he will not fall as easily as his comrades. The fighter slices off his arms and rips of the mans clothing to see his chest. He exclaims there aren't seven scars he is looking for the man with seven scars and he will kill him.
Before i continue tell me if you want a summary or what i can fly through events or go through them slowly its really up to you.
