Yeah, I hard it deviated a lot from the book.

Although, I hated the book so maybe that's a good thing, I dunno. Although I heard Steve Coogan is Hades, THAT ALMOST MADE ME GO SEE IT.

Pierce Brosnan was an amazing Bond. It helped that most of his films were better than the Connery films though.

Connery's Bond was truest to Fleming's novels, which makes him the best if you're a massive book nerd like me.

I've never even SEEN the books, Let alone read them. >_> Besides, I didn't get into the Bond movies until I played Goldeneye on the 64. So not only is Brosnan my favorite, He's also my first Bond.

Actually, I'd say Timothy Dalton's Bond was truest to the novels. He had a vicious streak that Connery did not. Anyway, count yourselves lucky; I grew up with Roger Moore as Bond. Ewwww.

The books are so much better than the movies it hurts.
