i agree on both counts

will take a lot from this generation to actually top ps2 in my mind

solo 4 is probably the better game

mercs is better in 5
but theres no real incentive to get S ranks

the only thing i didn't like in 4 is after going to the castle the areas got boring to me i completely hated the island part and from what i read from others the regenerator gave an awesome horror feel or some crap but i destroyed him easily before knowing its weakness

i didn't start disliking re5 story till they started using guns

did you only playthrough on default difficulty
i remember playing on higher difficulties those things were bastards
especially as i usually ended up selling my thermal scope cause i couldn't be fucked to carry it

i played on every diificulty

i remember always having a few flare, flash, and frags on hand and used them to kill it

i guess thinking about it more the reapers are about 10x more scarier then regenrators
and lickers are way more fun to fight

and now i'm struggling to think of anything ennemy wise in 4 thats done significant'y better

only the krauser boss fight stands out to me atm

only super salvador in mercenaries scares me

uh who is that?

the big chainsaw guy that goes crazy on stage 4. if you have grenades though he's easy

oh fuck yeah that guy is nuts

what pissed me off most is using leon on that level, sometimes his shotgun would knock him down sometimes it wouldn't

Finally played a little of the Expert mode, and just to get away from the rock the ganados toss near the start....shiiiiiiit
I need to take plenty of training for my thumb to speed its move to be able to finish QTE's on that mode

Thats my one problem with higher difficulties. THE ROCKS!
