Dragon Quest VIII

Who else played the game?

Dragon Quest VIII is a fun game that has a TON of replayability.

My favorite character is Jessica and my favorite recruitable monster for the Monster Arena is Hackzilla.

Yo. Fav was the MC. It was the only DW game I played and I loved it.

Last Boss was shit though.

I HATED this game.

I just... dunno'. The level-up system was pretty cool. I liked how the game made you choose which weapons to be good with, and I liked swapping skillsets in the middle of the fight.

The story, though... ugh. It was sooooo bad >.<

And the battles were boring. They took way too long with the animations on, and without them, I just couldn't stand it.

Not to mention having the biggest real-time(none of that Final Fantasy chibi-on-land shit) world map I've ever seen for a game(unless PC games have crap bigger, dunno lol).

Did they ever say what happened to Marcello? It's like they forgot about it him. Lol. I mean, he did have a little bit of kindness in him, I felt kinda bad when he gave Angelo his Templer ring.

I think Marciello just disappeared after summoning Rhapthrone.

WHAT A WASTE OF A GOOD CHARACTER. Ah, well.. at least I get purple super sayian Hero.

Is the map for SotC that big? I mean I know it's big but biggest ever? It seemed to take about as much time to get from one side to the other as it did to get from one side of SA to the other. And in SA you were going faster.

I've played DQVIII. This topic reminded me that I need to beat it again for the extra ending since I completed the Dra-whatever (Dracovian?) Trials.
