Well DQ4's coming out around the weekend in English for the DS SO YAY! Try to get that when you can.

Yep, after the DS remakes of DQ4, 5 and 6 are released, the 9th one in the series is also going to be released for the DS.

It originally was gonna have real-time combat but they changed back to turn based lol. Still not sure if they took out the wifi idea from it also, it's still pretty much shrouded in mystery, besides that turn-based change and the old trailer showing the real-time fighting still. They're busy concentrating on the remakes. Don't worry though, Japan's only got the 6th one to go and then we'll probably get more info about the latest installment after DQ6 DS' release.

Making DQ9 for the DS is massive fail.

No it isn't. It still looks great from the trailer, the graphics are disturbingly good and not very blocky. The only difference is the chibiness, then again, DQ's sprites back then were chibi. :3

Actually, in a way, DQ8 was also semi-chibi. It's hard to call it chibi but it's more like.....Well 20 year olds were scrawny. The main hero is around 19-20(based on his learning of his past during the trials thing) yet he looks a little younger.

I wish that Yangus spin-off game came out in English. COR BLIMEY, I WANNA PLAY!

It's the fact that I won't be playing it on mah bigass tv.

Actually I won't be playing it at all, because I won't be spending money on a DS.

I do buy them in my own language, just like I buy the DVDs when they come out.
