Just finished FFIV.

Last boss was disappointing but otherwise it was a fun game.

Cecil became likeable, Rosa was ...alright, Kain I have a mixed opinion about, Rydia was nice as a kid then when she became an adult she became awesome, Tellah was likeable, so was Edward, Palom and Porom were okay, Yang was alright, Cid was cool too, and Edge was pretty damn funny.

Oh yeah, Golbez was a pretty cool villain too.

did they pull the old final boss switcheroo with some inexplicable evil that was never named or mentioned in the game (im looking at YOU ff9)

No Zeromous was explained, just not built up all that well.

I'd skip playing FFIII if I were you. Much worse than this.

No, I'm gonna play it. But I'm playing that one last. I just started FFV, then I'm going to VI, then to II, then finally III.

Then hopefully somewhere in the mix I can finish my file of FFVIII and finally be done with the main series when it was still good.

FFVIII obviously isn't going to do that because I hate Squall.

I can't even bring myself to play FFVIII. Not only is the plot awkward as hell (I've read summaries, commentaries, etc), but the gameplay is the worst I have ever seen! Fucking magic system! Fucking junctioning! FUCKING CARD GAME!

I have no problem with the Magic, I just wish it would bother telling us when an opponent has a summon instead of expecting us to draw from everyone. Junctioning was bearable but the card game is fucking unforgiveable.

Eh, FFXII was my favorite and FFVII comes close. Fuck the others.

Oh, I got to play as Squall, Jecht, Kefka, and Tidus in the demo. Minor things about them were changed and Squall has a spelling mistake in his Victory text. But, since this is only a demo and he wasn't meant to be playable, they'll probably correct that.

FFVI is my favourite. They need to make a 3D remake of that game. It deserves it.

They might. If III and IV got one then I have no doubt V and VI will.

Hopefully on the PSP so I have more chances to hear Dave voice Kefka.

Laura Bailey will do a voice too. She has basically become the female Yuri Lowenthal.

Hey if I like the voice work, I'm gonna remember the name of the man/female who did it. Or if I absolutely hate the voice actor on a professional level.
