Guitar Hero 3

Started playing on hard (played all the regular songs on medium once. Got 5 starts for everything except raining blood), and damn this game is harder than World Tour.

And better

Nah. I much prefer World Tour's song list and general layout.

though WT is way easier

3 just doesn't have as many good/fun songs to play. The only that I actually really like playing is Mississippi Queen.

Plus the bonus completely suck compared to WT's. Especially the foreign language ones.

There's a couple, yeah. But that's not much at all compared to WT. There's only a few songs on WT that I don't like playing at all (Assassin, Scream Aim Fire, Antisocial). With GH3 it's like half the whole list.

really, admittedly there are classics on world tour but its a load of mainstream stuff

which isn't necessarily bad
but it means a lot of stuff is missing cool solos
plus i loved the fact GH3 hada lot of old songs i recognised but didn't know who sang them

Yeah, but all the mainstream rock-pop stuff is fun at least. Not the greatest songs to listen to, but they're fun to play. There's great songs on both, but WT's song list is better overall.

they all seem kinda easy
and GH3 is challenging
for me challenging is fun

Not for me. Most of the time anyway. The reason I hate playing Assassin is that it's just loads of alt strumming. But so is Eye of the Tiger, and I like playing that, because it's fun. Just about as challenging though, since I'm not that great with alt strumming.

Yeah. I think they all work for both games, but I know the RB drums work on WT.

RB2 dums work for GHWT, it's what I use because I didn't want to buy the WT set.
