The Day the Earth Stood Still

Saw it tonight. I must say it was okay. Not bad, not great, but okay. It probably would have been better without Keanu Reeves though. He always has a certain look and sound to him, as though he's not sure what's going on. He doesn't seem capable of conveying conviction or definite purpose, which was fine in the Matrix, but here it makes his character fall flat for the most part.
