They're a little...tame.
Too many of them seem to involve just jumping on your opponent, and lack the wince inducing OTTness of MK2s fatalities.
That said, I did like both of Deathstroke's, and Lex Luthors 1st.

I agree. And yeah I like Jokers move too with the guns. His moves are really funny

Can you remember seeing Mk2s fatalities for the first time? I remember feeling a little uneasy when I first saw Jax pull someone's arms off, only to then have blood shoot across the screen.
MKvDC seems to lack the kind of visceral impact.

the two that stand in mind are the one you mentioned and kung lao's slice you in two fatality both were gross, unsettling and awesome all at the same time mind subzero's classic from the first game was great to

The groser the better IMO.
I loved Jax Arm rip, Kung Lao's slice and dice and I also loved the Animalities back in the old games. I also loved Sektor's "elevator" fatality and some more that involved grose things like ripping out the spine or skeleton from the flesh.
I'll keep saying it, but original games are almost always the best! Ever since MK moved onto the PS2, the Fatalities went downhill from there on. Armegaddon had a nice new fatality system, THOUGH it got boring after a while.
The old fatalities are still the best. I can't stop wondering WHY they toned it down so much...

really DA had some decent fatalities IIRC and they were better then MK3 ones which were very samey looking one of the lamest things in MK3 was the fact the animations looked recycled in the fatalities

Ooh, I'd forgotten about Kung Lao's vertical slice. That was nasty, wasn't it?
Oh, and anything from MK3 sucked by default.

I found MK3 good at the time going back to the gfames though there were a lot more cooler things in two i.e. secret boss fights

Armegaddon had all characters and nice graphics. I was just bummed out they didn't put in ALL Fatalities, Animalities, Babitalities, Friendly Fatality and just baiscally everything (good) from previous games!!
They made the game to close the PS1 & PS2 line of MK anyway cause they were gonna make a new MK on the PS3 with fresh new characters and all. So I heard anyway. Like a new beginning.

Babitalities were fun. Pointless maybe, but fun.

well they were the same for every character and the fact you needed to learn different inputs for every character for the same effect = pointless IMO

Babalities and animalities were just gimmicks. The animalities looked wierd as well, they weren't simply the fighters turning into the animal, they were kinda....lasery looking. That's probably not even a word, is it?
Still, the Friendships were at least slightly more personalised.

Couldn't be bothered to watch all of them since they were very boring. Most of them looked like they should have just been regular attacks.
