| I'm not that bothered about being able to read it. I've got Viz's manga and I'm happy with that. Unless there are some big differences I don't know about I doubt having a better translation would make me enjoy it any more. | |

Is there anything special about it, or is it simply a re release? I've seen a few titles that are supposedly Kanzenban, only to find that they're the same just with a shiny new cover. Translated from Dutch: Starting from January, Glénat will release a new 34 volume counting edition of Akira Toriyama's popular Dragon Ball manga. We're talking about the definitive "kanzenban" release, which also appeared in Japan, with coloured pictures and tribute illustartions by other artists. Aside from that Toriyama also drew a new ending of four pages for this edition. As a finishing touch Glénat will also do an entirely new translation of the whole manga. Source: Glénat | |
