Not in PoR. In RD. In PoR he was just aggravating, but not really bad.

Not entirely. I just completed Chapter 19 in PoR and Ike still has issues. He exact line once you finish is "We won...somehow" then Nasir approaches him, complimenting him on his efforts. Ike mentions that he is the way he is, because of how his father raised him, Nasir asks him "He was a great man, right?" and Ike replies, "Since I was young, I have dreamed about becoming as strong as my father. Now that is something I will never achieve."

Also, to the person who said Micaiah made RD dull?

Try the transparent difficulty, Part II ~ IV and the horrendous part as making RD dull. The only exciting part was Part I, which was Micaiah's part.

To be honest, I liked part II. Parts III and IV though were unimaginably tiresome (the chapter where you have to attack the senators' camp is a nice exception). For me, the worst chapter is the one in the desert (Part IV).

As for Michaiah, I meant she is a boring character; I wasn't really referring to her part.

Everyone in RD is a boring character, except maybe Pelleas. A diamond in a pile of yellow snow.

I always forget about him, mainly because Tibarn is there fucking up my field of vision with his Gary Stu "HI' I'M AN ARROGANT BASTARD" random pop-ins.

Oh, I forgot to say that I hated the Black Knight on RD. He was very weak stat-wise.

i like the FE series, i own the (lyn/hector/eliwood) one and sacred stones(the only thing i liked in SS was the after-story gameplay to earn bosses as playable characters)
previously owned path of radience, beat it, sold it(in hindsight that was a stupid move) and bought radiant dawn. RD is a tad too slow paced for me to play it for more than mebe an hour at a time tho...

im getting an emulator for the earlier FE's also.

on the note of good strategy, anyone played onimusha tactics for the GBA?

Now that I know, 100% agree.

Four and Seven are probably my favourites of the series. Heck, I'm playing seven now just to finish up Hector Hard Mode. And I'm playing a bit of six as well.

Can't wait for the DS remake to come out.

Four was amazing.

Levin/Tiltyu are the best characters in FE4, hands down. Both battle and character wise.

PoR Black Knight was only a luck based battle, because of the 5 turn limit.

Without it, the battle is significantly more challenging, because Ike can't double him and can only do 9 damage a shot.

I would take a long ass time to beat him without Aether. Okay, maybe it's still a luck battle with or without the time limit.

I tried Fire Emblem when I was younger. The fact that characters permanently died upset me so much that we gave the game away to someone else.
