Not so much the Paul Luther one.

I really dislike chapter 6.

Yep.
Huge, full of traps and Madorok's rune was too tiresome to get.

Mantorok's rune required a bit of backtracking and the traps were freaking obnoxious.

I hated Roberto Bianchi's chapter the first time I did it. Missed the sword in the first room you examine and I had to go through THE ENTIRE CHAPTER with only the crossbow and torch.

That fucking sucked! Try killing a Gatekeeper with the torch. Took FOREVER. I found the sword on my way back, though...

No, a Gatekeeper. Not the Black Guardian. Gatekeepers are those bat-like enemies that hit you with their tails and summon other monsters.

It's impressive nontheless.

Anyone else other than me dumb enough to still pick Blue instead of Red or Green for that Sparda like dude, even after some-one told me what it does?

You pick Ulyaoth over Chattur'gha and Xel'lotath? I think those are a difficulty selector for the game.

Chattur'gha (red) has the strongest enemies. They hit very hard, but only deal physical damage.(Hard)

Ulyaoth (blue) is in the middle. His monster's attacks deal physical and magical damage. (Normal)

Xel'lothath's (green) enemies are rather weak in comparison to the others, but their attacks drain sanity as well as health. (Easy?)

Difficulty? Mike told me they affected his powers.

Blue gave him the one he said I didn't want him to have...I think it was psychic powers or something.

What rune you choose doesn't affect Pious in any way other then the Ancient he summons in the end.

If you beat the game three times and get all the runes, don't you get the super-duper rune at the end?

If you beat the game three times using each of the three runes, you are rewarded with the true ending forshadowing the Eternal Darkness sequel.

The super-duper rune you are talking about, I'm assuming, is the Mantorok rune? If so, you can acquire that in any playthrough.

I know I missed one, and only one, when I beat the game. It did some fancy stuff, though. I think. I don't remember >.>

The major runes I listed above. The lesser ones, I know all their names, but I don't know how you can miss any of them.

I don't remember. At all, sorry. I think I had to go through some hidden passage guarded by super-tiny enemies. Or something. It's been a few years since I've played that game.

i still have this i don't like most of the early chapters though. i enjoyed exploing the mansion a lot though

I enjoy running around with my sanity meter on low or empty. XD
