ps4's new game share service

This drops tomorrow so i thought i'd put a list of my games on here in case anyone wanted to try them out. I'll only put purchased games as plus titles are the same for everyone.

ye, as of update 2.0 (dropping tomorrow) you can invite people to watch, take control or play multiplayer with you even if they dont have the game. It is unlimited 60 minute sessions

Wow. That seems awfully (and unusually) consumer-centric. Pretty much everyone here has PS+, don't they?

You can also earn trophies for the host.

That sort of takes away the sense of accomplishment, doesn't it? In any case, it's sounds like a very beneficial feature. Not sure what Sony are getting out of it.

The host needs plus IIRC for local coop online, both need it to pass the controller.

This is the single greatest feature i've seen in gaming assuming it works, now even local coop only games have online coop its fucking awesome.

I'm sorry, but I've no intention to do an akumu run ever again! I can give you tips and a detailed strategy for every single area though.

Edit: my biggest problem was the addition of bear traps in the most annoying parts ever. In chapter 10 you've to evade Laura, who got a speed boost in akumu, avoid the bear traps, which are everywhere, and shoot the valves at the same time. Akumu isn't that bad though. It requires a lot of patience, but only three chapters are truly hard (6, 10 and 11).

I'm likely being overly cynical, it sounds almost too good to be true. If it is genuinely all it sounds like it is, it will be a massive boon for Sony.

Unfortunately if the host has to stream the whole game to the client PS4 I can't see it being too functional, it is a really cool concept though.

Yeah, it's clearly going to be somewhat reliant on your own internet speed.

Just updated and now I can't get online. My own network is fine, but I cannot connect to PSN, which means I cannot play Destiny. At all. Not even the PvE stuff. Rubbish!

happened to me aswell, give it half hour & reset ps4, you should be good to go

They said shareplay will reduce frame rate and resolution to 720p at 30fps, most likely to not completely run like crap.
