| I'm pissed that the interviewers are trying to villify Gerrard, the guy is awesome. Suarez anticipating a potential knock on shows how damn good a striker he is and honestly the english defence is just full of holes.
Rooney may have scored a tap in, but I expect a lot more for him considering he's given so much hype. He clearly under performs for England in World Cup games even if he has the skills to play well elsewhere. Suarez makes 2 chances for himself and scores them (well the first goal was a cross, but that burst of accelration when there's 6 english players on the defence and you've come back from knee surgery was mazing). Rooney compartively doesn't put it in the back of the net in opportunities where he should.

| interesting World Cup, most top teams don't seem to perform as good as you might've thought. | |

| holy shit, damn close call but we're in the second round hope they can finally lose the stress now so we can start to play better. we've won two times luckily enough, but we didn't play well. | |

| I still can't believe the U.S decided to play a weak defense in the last seconds and ended up giving up what would have been a win. | |

| I think Belgium is starting to become that team that never plays well (and that's an understatement), but always scores in the final 15 minutes...
I guess what really matters is that we won our group with 3 wins and are through to the second round where we can, luckily enough, avoid Germany and play the US, which we know we can take since we played them last year and we easily won.
Admittedly though, the US is playing really good this World Cup, so we definitely have to step up our game, but I can see us getting to the Quarter Final, and then we're gonna go down against (most likely) Argentina as I already mentioned earlier in this thread.
Quarter Final looks like a very plausible goal though, and that's going to be a dream come true for everyone here, everyone's already happy we're in the second round really...everything after that is just bonus.

| Argentina aren't playing the best so if you get that far then don't assume it's a loss | |

true, they aren't playing well, but neither are we.. if they keep sucking and we start doing good, then I might start to believe in it.
