Chris Redfield and Leon Kennedy will not be alone in this new game. Both Chris and Leon will have unnamed partners of their own, teaming up in similar fashion to the Chris Redfield/Jessica Sherawat and Jill Valentine/Parker Luciani pairings in Resident Evil Revelations. Sources tell us Chris and Leon will have seperate stories in the game that will eventually overlap in some capacity.

We're also told Ada Wong will have a playable role in the game, though not immediately. It appears as though the Ada storyline will become available to players after the Chris and Leon arcs have been completed, plus a third primary narrative featuring a new character. Any of the three main story branches will be selectable early on in the game, allowing players to see each storyline through to completion before starting another one.

Yeah, but that's the natural evolution of gameplay. Sorta like how the ATB system in FF ended up how it is in FFXIII. I don't really mind it, if you're going to make your game into an action then it's best you improve upon its gameplay which is what the point of sequels are supposed to be.

I mean honestly, you can run and shoot now, I love this game already just for that.

as long as it doesn't turn into a shooter too much, I welcome it too.

i'm just afraid it's gonna be too much of a shooter, but if it's like Dead Space it's ok.

Leon's sections will probably be more horror oriented from the looks of it, while Chris and this Merc guy seem more action-oriented. Either way, I don't mind the games being shooted oriented because they're fun to play that way, especially with the new stuff you seem to be able to do in gameplay.

Just found this on PS3's blog. Holy shit. Leon and Chris together in the same game and gameplay that looks a step up from RE5? Hell yes.

This could change immensely though remember what happened with RE5.

Anyways looks like Leon finally hit puberty. Seriously though i would've like A Jill Chris combo, but either way looks great.

I'm sure Jill and HUNK will be in this game somehow, either way I'm just happy that Ashley didn't fall off the face of the Earth like Rebecca and Barry did.
