Infamous: Festival of Blood

RDR did zombies, Infamous is doing vampires. However, this is a standalone DL game, so you won't need Infamous or Infamous 2 to play it. Which is awesome.

This is out next week and will cost £8. I'm definitely getting it. I'll tell you all whether it's worth it or not.

I think we're getting payday the heist but i was thinking of throwing this on the us account. Let me know though if this unlocks stuff in the actual infamous 2 game.

There's been no word of that, but I'll keep an eye out. I'll check out the Payday demo but this and Sideway are my priorities for PSN purchases.

Okay, so far I've just messed around climbing stuff and trying out the awesome new flight power. The choice system seems to be totally gone, since you're a vampire in this an' all. Only the first island is accessible too, and I doubt that will change.

So where is this in relation to infamous 2?
Are we good cole or evil cole?
Do we have all the powers in I2?
Will this spoil I2?

Does bloody mary have a horrible british accent? Because vampires have to be british for some reason?

It's just a what-if. You're good Cole at the start, but you get turned into a vampire almost immediately. There is no moral choice system as far as I can tell. It doesn't give you all the powers from I2, just some. I haven't finished it yet, but nothing has been spoiled so far.

Don't you have stuff like the shock grenade, isn't it inclined to evil or good in terms of how it fires? Personally i always found the evil powers shit.

You don't have any fire or ice powers, and you're evil by default. Sort of. You are a vampire after all, you go around biting pople. But you are trying to stop the other vampires. What I mean is there's no karma meter.

The powers seems split. It seems like the magnum bolt is the default bolt in this, which was a good power, but you also have the punch blast, which was evil.

They easily could've implemented a moral choice system in this, otherwise i just feast on every human i see.

Whats the red and blue lines on the map?

Also is this just gonna be run to a mob of enemies then kill them etc?

Also how the hell is running to mobs of enemies a bad thing in my mind considering i love beat em ups. If you were saying it that would be bitching as you complained about UGC being only that.

This was great for a DLC game. Just finished up everything. The boss fights weren't all that but TBH thats never been an infamous strong point. Considering you get a whole island to explore its a grat introduction to the series.

Blue is the tram lines, same as Infamous 2. Red lines are new, can't figure out what they are.

Finally got around to fnishing this. It was really good.

My only complaint is the lack of a proper boss fight, other than that the new powers were awesome and I preferred the blood system to ionic charges or whatever they were called.

I did like being able to fly and the vampire vision. Were there any other powers? I honestly can't remember. If UGC had more of a quality control i could see some really good shit turning up.

You have to do UGC missions to unlock the final two powers. You need to finish 10 of them I think.
