What kinda games you want?

do you want multiple games? does how old they are matter?
are you bothered about graphics?

Uncharted 1 and 2. I consider them a must for everyone with a PS3.

Red Dead: Redemption is a lot of fun. Badass western game made by Rockstar.

God of War 3, and the collection if you haven't played 1 and 2.

Batman: Arkham Assylum. A lot of fun, because you're motherfucking batman.

I could name more, but I'll leave it at that for now.

get uncharted 2 not 1 if your that way inclined, i played one it was kinda boring

also check out vids on yakuza 3 see if you'd be interested it starts kinda slow but if you haven't played the first 2 you'll see the crazy number of options the game gives you

I was looking to buy at least 4 games. (The price doesn't matter.)
I don't care how old they are.
The graphics don't matter as long as they aren't complete shit.

As for the kind of games I want, uh, I don't really know. Definitely no more fighting games though.

check reviews, but generally good games i can think of mainstream not niche:

Saints row 2 (dirt cheap)
Batman AA
Uncharted 2 ( i haven't played)
Prototype (at least rent this)
Yakuza 3 (most time i spent on a game and i probably did that in a week or two)

i'll think of others later, these guys all have red dead redemption so you can play that with them to which is always a plus. I don't think i've played an RPG on PS3 so i can't comment on any of those.3 of the above games have demoes so you can check those out yourself. I would really recommend SR2 though its cheap if you buy it 2nd hand probably under 10 dollars, and theres few games that allow you to be a dick like that and are as cool as it.

Well, if you're into super powers, you could try out inFamous. I'd only rent it though, it's fun, but not a lot of replay value.

Assassin's Creed 2 was also really good.

How's Demon Souls?

Not a clue, I never played it.

All I know about Demon's Souls is that it's supposedly really, REALLY hard... mostly on account of the player not knowing the sheer amount of death traps right around the corner the first time around. Sorta like "I Wanna Be The Guy", except a JRPG.

You could get RE5 if you're into that sort of stuff but the story sucks ass even though the gameplay is fun.

Oblivion (Very tedious game though)

Marvel vs Capcom 2

Oblivion is awesome, but the sheer scale of it can be overwhelming at first. Demon Souls isn't out in the UK yet, so I can't vouch for it personally, but review scores have all been positive, despite them all saying it's bastard hard.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is patchy, but when it's at its best it's sublime. Other multiformat efforts worth trying are Assassin's Creed 2, Bioshock 1 + 2, Call of Duty Modern Warfare etc. If you like fighting games, then Soul Calibur 4 is great and is very cheap now.

The gameplay of RE5 is fun and the online is quite good as well.

Here's what I'm going to buy based my on superior tastes. Do not try to comprehend, tiny minded commoners will never understand the beauty and elegance that is this list. Simple yet so refined with a provocative twist, written on luxe, note book paper... truly exquisite.

Demon Souls
Valkyria Chronicles
Anything else I see that looks cool.
