Did you guys know there was a Smokin' Aces 2?

I saw it on the shelf in a shop the other day and that was the first I'd ever heard of it. Anyone seen it? I quite liked the first one.

i dunno the action wasn't actually good enough to completely ditch any effort at storyline (there mayhave been one but IIRC it was awful)

Hm...I always wanted to watch the first one, but never got around to it.

The first one was alright, though I did like the ending. The second... I knew nothing about until I saw the Blu ray advertised in a magazine. Straight to DVD sequels are seldom any good.

The first was a bit too ambitious I think. It was like Shoot 'Em Up, it'd take a really good director and production to make those films work perfectly, but they weren't quite up to it.

Yeah I knew, there were commercials on tv here in Canada. I looked it up, it's actually a prequel.

Oh wow. I liked it.

Still not sure if it's worth it to watch a prequel, though....
