I kind of regret buying a 360 since buying a PS3.

Well generally speaking, anything on both the 360 and PS3 would be better on the PS3.

If that's the case then don't bother with it.

Actually, multi-platform titles tend to perform better on the 360, however marginally. The 360 is cheaper to develop for, so games are just developed for the 360 and ported to the PS3.

The PS3's exclusives far outshine the 360's exclusives in my opinion though, both technically and just because I like them as games more.

Besides, the PSN is free, and Blu Ray games will be better than games on DVDs, purely due to the amount of data you can fit on them.

I should say, I enjoyed my 360 while it worked. I bought it because it was cheaper than a PS3. I just feel a bit stupid now that I have a PS3, because it's just better and I could have had one all along.

That really only matters with the exclusives though. Cross platform titles usually have weird trade offs to suit each console, or small detail changes that don't really matter.

Protoype, for example, has slightly more advanced lighting and shadows on the PS3, I think. Debris is given realtime shadows and such, making things seem a little less flat. For another example, Tekken 6 runs at less than 720p on both consoles with the motion blur on. But turn it off, and the 360 version jumps to above 720p, while the PS3 version stays at sub-720p, but adds anti-aliasing. And several multi-platform titles have been noted to run smoother on the 360, with less framerate drops and screen tearing and such.

Yeah, kind of annoys me that the PS3 has a lot of untapped potential. I mean all of the multiconsole games are just made for the 360 because it's cheaper, then ported to the PS3. They might change it slightly, but yeah. Still, I wouldn't say it's worth buying a 360 if you already have a PS3.

Uncharted 1 and 2, LittleBigPlanet, and the two Ratchet and Clank games are the PS3 exclusives I own. And they're all good/great. Crackdown is the only 360 exclusive I really liked. Well, that and DOA4, but you can buy DOA2 for the PS2 and get pretty much the same thing.

As we pay like 1.5 times more than Americans, it's probably $250 - $300 for you.
