Dante's Inferno

I'll pirate the PSP version and hope it's similar so I don't have to try and rent the PS3 version but I have literally lost any shred of hope I had for this game to be good with Greek Mythos being included now.

yeah that pretty much has cocked things up royally

i mean the story and themed levels are what seemed like the coolest things about this game
but now that seems kinda dumb and the combat looks awful its quite offputting

unless i hear someone make a big deal about this i'll probably nott even bother playing it

Dante is using Death's Scythe to take on Hell itself.

That in itself is why I'll buy it.........a year or two from now when the price drops. XD

Someone who's had five years of school.
Seven years of primary school. Three years of secondary school. Three years of what the Americans call high school, and then University.

Our school system starts at Kindergarden around age 5 or so, then each year after that is referred to as a Grade, ranging from 1 to 12. Following Grade 12, the student graduates and may move on to college or university, if they so choose.

Here we just have years. You're a 5th Year, a 9th year, etc.

There's playschool, which is for toddlers and such.
Then at 4 or 5 there's primary school, which is 4 years.
Middle school is another 4 years, up to year 8.
Then there's... big school, or whatever, which is at least 3 years, up to year 11.
After that there's 6th form, which is an optional 2 years.
And then University.

He dies when I whip him around a bit with the whip knock his scythe into the air and then it comes down and slices his head off.

So is this game any fun?

Note, I'm not expecting a great game, I'm gonna get that next month with GoW 3, but is it at least worth the time?

I went to 3 different schools, I know that much. 4 years at primary school, 4 years at secondary/middle, 5 more at thirdiairiadir... high school.

really i'd say try the demo
combats fun if you let it be, theres a decent mix of combos more so then any other game i can think of actually, but only one weapon to my knowledge (note thats a single weapon combo wise)
the punish or admonish system is interesting
i think this has some awesome set pieces due to the nature of the game from what i've seen gameplay wise
personally i'm in two minds about getting it

The only thing this game has done for me is introduce me to a great song by Bill Withers.

I played and finished this game in a few hours.

Pretty bad. It's a 1:1 copy of GoW. Except without the interesting and beautiful backgrounds. And Greek mythology. And Kratos.

what about the boss fights?

Button mashing does the job. They're not even giant monsters. They're a bit bigger than you and they look disgusting. They use about two attacks and that's it.
