first heard this song on some performance on Britain's Got Talent i think..but have recently been re-introduced to the greatness that is Emeli Sandé.





this was also way more catchier than I would've thought:

I saw Chvrches tonight. They were really good, though they came on like 90 mins late because of some kind of issue at the border. They didn't play that long either, just over an hour, though its understandable since they only have one album's worth of material.

Lauren Mayberry is just as adorable in person, though her accent is pretty much incomprehensible when she's just talking thanks to the mic, the crowd and how fast she talked.

Anyway, in preparation for the concert I watched a lot of their live performances on youtube so I would be familiar with their other songs.This is my current favorite, it's a track that will be included as a bonus on the deluxe edition of their upcoming album:



Also head's up: the base version of their debut album leaked. You should check it.out and then buy it when it's officially released.

I'm jealous, I tried in vain to get tickets for their single show in Melbourne but they sold out almost instantly. Supposedly they're going to be at a festival in February though so I'll try again then.

I am a massive fan of the Smith Street Band, and I think Wil Wagner is an absolutely brilliant songwriter. I have been listening to one of his solo EPs that he released earlier this year on repeat over the last few days. The song linked above contains one of my favorite lines for anything ever:

"But how can you stay mad when the red sun splits right through the clouds like this? And the cold bites my skin, and you bite my upper lip."

Such perfect imagery.

I'll be honest, I only listened to this because I thought the art looked interesting. It's not bad though.

Been listening to the new Slipknot album since it came out in October. Can't get enough of it! Custer is one of the best songs of the album. Speaks perfectly to my political/societal views.

Been listening to some OverClocked Remix tracks lately and stuff by OCR contributor, Goat for Castlevania fan remixes and a few other game tracks that've been remixed.
"No Flesh Allowed", "Enter The Killer", "Stained Glass Filth, and "Dark World Jazz" to name a few among others.

I've been on an ELO fix recently. Time is my favorite album!
