| Okay, SB2 arrived today. I'm actually quite enjoying the story, though having to wade through fifteen identikit Meta Coola's is getting a little tiresome. It's Budokai roots are clear, but I'm still quite impressed by how smoothly the PSP handles the game; the graphics are very impressive for a handheld, and it still runs as smoothly as B3 ever did. | |

| SB2 is a much faster game than B3 ever hopes to be. | |

| Indeed. I'm still trying to get the hang of the Aura attacks at the moment, as the AI in Another Road mode is constantly nullyfing my attacks then beating me down. | |

| I found this game to be lots of fun, if a little boring during the grinding. | |

| Yeah, grinding for Zenie to purchase the necessary Booster items is a little dull. I spent every penny in the first few chapters making sure Trunks was adequately equipped, and now I've uddenly got two more fighters to equip...they're struggling to keep up. | |

Nono, I meant fighting several Super Buus/Coolers/Cells.

That isn't grinding per se, though it is just as tedious. Also, is it just me, or is Goku crap in this? He's got none of Trunks' or Gohan's melee power, none of Piccolo or Vegeta's range, and none of Cell's defensive techniques. I'm sorely tempted to say that Goku is so far the worst chracter in the game, though I have only unlocked as far as SSj2 so maybe SSj3 and 4 will be better...?

| The only worthwile Goku is SSJ4 Goku, who is a beast. | |

| As the cramp in my hands will attest, I'm struggling with the default control scheme. I've almost beaten Another Road mode now, with only Kid Buu to beat, yet trying to move things up a notch, and I'm finding that to use some of my old B3 cancel combos is a nightmare, as the PSP is obviously lacking some of the DualShock's buttons (namely the shoulders), and as a result I'm finding it very hard to hold triangle and still press X to cancel the charge. Obviously I need to rearrange the controls a little to suit, otherwise my hands will end up looking like 'The Claw'. Question is, which way do I go? Do I move the Guard button to the right shoulder and put Aura Burst on X? Any ideas? | |

| Nope. I don't even know which button is the B-button. | |

| B and C are the two shoulder buttons. | |

| Oh, I changed my button setup too. Not sure I remember it though, been ages. Didn't change the shoulder buttons. I think I set the heavy attack to circle and ki to triangle, with X as block and square as light attack like normal (I think that's normal). | |

| That might work. May take a little longer for my muscle memory to stop pressing R1 as guard though.... | |

| R1 is guard? I thought that was aura burst? Maybe I did change that then. All I remember is I cancel with X. Square and circle are the attack buttons, and X is easy to reach from either which makes it easier. It makes ki charge cancels harder though, but I never used them. | |

| No, no, R is Aura Burst in SB2, but R1 was what I used for guard in B3, hence that's what my fingers keep going toward. It made it much easier to cancel when you could hold triangle then just tap a shoulder button. I never used Ki cancels in B3 (not even sure they existed..?) and Aura Burst cancels are properly advanced stuff, so it'll be a few days before I try them out. | |

| Oh right. Well changing heavy attack to circle rather than triangle should help. | |

| I'd be happy if I could have fighting Trunks with a bit more power. His Ultimate in base form is soooo good, and while he has massive combo potential, even his SSj form lacks the outright power that the likes of Chou Gohan, SSj3 Gotenks, Vegetto etc have. You have to work that much harder to make up for it. | |
