This is obviously a reference to the Ninja Turtles. And a hilarious one too, because of how Ghido (He's a turtle) and Exdeath were just fighting a minute ago.

IE They were zooming around the room at high speeds attacking each other.

Okay, I am literally under the impression the creators just stopped caring about Self-Awareness and just decided to throw every hilarious line they could towards the last part of the game.

No, he really isn't. It's just I'm guessing that the developers were having too much fun with the script and decided to make these lines sound more hilarious than they should be.
