He reminds me of Cars...

I was playing Soul Calibur 4 earlier and decided to play as Algol, having not played him for quite a while. As I thought about Algol, the idea struck me... he seems hella similar to Cars from JJBA Part 2.

Cars: ancient being from an extinct culture who slept for roughly two millenia in a pillar, eventually awakening to seek out an ancient stone that would help him survive sunlight, rendering him immortal.

Algol: ancient being from an extinct culture who's soul was imprisoned for several millenia, eventually breaking free to seek out two ancient swords that would fully sustain his body; his imprisonment and return were also done at a pillar-like tower.

Coincidence?
