I thought the movie was great and despite having a western slant on the traditional story it was awesome

Yeah, it was good. The whole Karate Kid type element was slightly cringe-worthy though. If only because it was bloody obvious.

yeah but despite having that the film still managed to entertain
lets face it they were trying to make it more appealing to a western audience
