| RPG was the first that came to mind. I've only played a few RPGs, and FFX kinda scared me away from RPGs.
However, Tales of Symphonia left fond memories, and I'm going to buy Persona 4, which I hope will be a success, plus, I can probably find a cheap copy of DQVIII...
Any other suggestions for genres and games?

| strategy - Disgaea series (or) Makai Kingdoms
they're both by nippon-ichi, and have guest appearances with each other (at least for makai kingdoms, im not sure about disgaea) and fun/funny as hell to boot. | |

| If so, Go get Final Fantasy Tactics: War of The Lions.  It...is...awesome. Almost better than the original in the sense that the original had some funny typos. XD But WoTL has CG Movies and an extra special character or two. | |

| I think it's highly unlikely that I'll start playing strategy games (except maybe Red Alert 3).
