demo download time for re5?

i was wondering how long it took you guys.

i'm going to be using a 360 if it makes a difference

I only know that this demo is more entertaining than most complete games I've ever had. So download it already!

It took about an hour, give or take, but that was over a wireless network, so if you're plugged straight into your modem / router it might be quicker.

i already played the demo on my friends ps3, and that's why i wanted it on my 360.

and i'm glad it won't take as long as i thought

yeah, i don't have an ethernet cable and i forgot the 360 doesn't have built in wireless like the ps3

Your fault for buying a 360 instead of a PS3.

That's one of the reasons why the 360 is cheaper. The wifi adaptor can be picked up for around £35, so it's not that big a deal; as long as you don't go into a shop and blow £60 on it, anyway!

I've never had any problems with it. Even when playing GoW, Halo 3 or some such, lag is always minimal.

well, the adaptor i just looked at online was a 99.99 US dollars so it's more expensive than the ones you have

RRP is £60, but you can get them much cheaper if you shop around. I got mine on eBay.

Is an ethernet cable totally out of the question then? If you're only after one demo, then the wifi adaptor is rather an expensive luxury.

probably not, once i get a job i'm considering online play as well

oh and i don't think the cable can reach between my router and 360. they're very far apart
