MGS4 is pretty fun!

Is it actually fun? MGS never seemed like "fun" games to me.

It's very fun. I didn't think I'd like MGS3, but it was amazing, and so is this. You need to play the other three MGS games, though

I played the first one a bit. Don't really like stealth games.

Did you play it on PS?
It doesn't have FPS view, which makes it horrible to play.
For me, I watched a playthrough of MGS and am watching a playthrough of MGS2

I mean in game. I can get past the first little section, but I can't manage to enter the actual base.

and MGS is not just fun its epic

MGS4 is a great game, although I can see why it's not everyone's cup of tea. It's rather pretentious in places, like Kojima is so high on himself he can't see the gaping flaws in the game. Still, essential PS3 fare.
