This game is actually a lot of fun. Admittedly at first glance I was apprehensive in getting this as I just thought about how stupid all those people in the arcades looked when pissing away money on these games while looking like an idiot. However, buying this kind of game for home use eliminates buth those things you spend a fixed amount of money and you have only your friends thinking you look like an idiot when you get into the game or they are nice enough to say you look like a rock god.
The difficulty settings in this game can cater to all and unless you have got really bad reflexes (and i mean really bad) you will be able to get through this game on easy, the difficulty curve seems decent enough and you should be able to move on up to medium and hard respectively with time. I'm not sure about expert as I haven't tried to play on that yet, but i'm sure with time and practice you could train yourself to meet that challenge.
This game is a lot of fun and when i get my second guitar I will add to this review exactly what I think of the co-op career mode.
I probably should add the career mode in this game doesn't really have any actual career elemnt to it, you effectively just have to perform song after song tounlock new venues and new songs and cash, I guess its a nice way to put it altogether instead of a bunch of menus, but there is no real element to it.
Overall if you like fun things and just trying something different get it.
I will also review World tour shortly.
