I take back everything I said about this show.

This is one of the first animes I liked in a really long time. Almost as good as DBZ.

I just watched the fight with Blueno and Luffy. The only thing I don't understand is where Luffy learned 2nd Gear. Why didn't he use it when he first met them?

Because he didn't know what Soru was back then.

On the sea train he thought of a way to effectively use Soru and get a power boost at the same time with his rubber body. Yeah, it kinda makes no sense to just learn it suddenly, but at least it's better than a training arc.

Also you have to skip episode 279 to 283. They're just flashbacks of the strawhats.

Well it doesn't really explain it considering it's just a movie for One Piece, you know, non-canon and all. >_>

BTW, I wonder if Oda will consider the new film he's looking over as canon, now that everyone's been sent flying everywhere, it has less chance of existing in the timeline, especially if Luffy recruits Margaret(after she's un-stoned lol) which is most likely going to happen, maybe not though. =/
